Parent Partnership

Working in partnership with parents and/or carers is central to the Early Years Foundation Stage and to the way we work at Town Street Playgroup.

Home Learning is designed to give parents the skills and confidence they need to support their child's learning at home through play and everyday activities.

We are very fortunate at playgroup to have lots of lovely books and activity packs that children can borrow to take home and share with you to help you support their child’s learning. We also hold Coffee Mornings/ Home Learning Sessions to share ideas and advice for parents on how to support their child’s learning, e.g.  Numbers. Markmaking, Letters and Sounds.  Parents will be invited to complete Home Learning Challenges with their children, e.g. growing sunflowers, making a picture during the holidays.
