Fees

  Fees are £22.05 a morning, £44.10 for a whole day.

 Fees must be paid by bank transfer. Fees are still payable if your child is absent through illness, holiday or for any other reason. The rent and wages for staff still have to be paid. Non- payment of fees will result in the loss of the place.

Town Street Playgroup is registered to accept tax free childcare payments.

 Four weeks’ notice must be given of a decision to remove your child from playgroup otherwise the fees will still be payable.

Voluntary Charge

We know that many parents mistakenly think that the ‘funding’ we receive from the government for each child’s playgroup space is whatever we charge for a session.  Sadly, this is not true.  The government decides on a funding rate to give to us, and we have to accept it whether or not it covers our costs.  Parents have been told they are receiving a ‘free’ space, but this is untrue and very unfair. We are pleased to be able to support working parents and offer the 30 hours of funding as well as the universal 15 hours for all other funded children however it comes at a cost to us and may well impact on our sustainability and the quality of service, we provide for you and your children.

So, we are pleased to accept any voluntary donations from parents in receipt of the funded place.
